The YWCA serves the people of York County through a wide array of programs and services. Children's programs include Early Learning Centers, a School Age Learning Center, and summer camp at the YWCA's Camp Cann-Edi-On in York Haven.
The Quantum Opportunities Program is an after-school program for York City high school students. QOP focuses on development in the following three areas: Education, Community Service and Life Skill Development.
YWorks is the YWCA's fitness center, featuring cardio and weight rooms for women only. A variety of exercise classes are offered to both men and women. Aquatics programming includes a swim team and a synchronized swimming team, and aquatics classes for all ages and abilities.
The YWCA's community development initiatives strive to improve the social, economic, and physical conditions in Olde Towne East, an 18-block neighborhood just east of Downtown York.
ACCESS-York, the most recent program added to the YWCA of York, is dedicated to the elimination of domestic violence, and provides free services to all victims of domestic violence, both male and female.
